This is the procedure to get the visa in order to enter Egypt from the airport of Sharm El Sheikh:
- in the plane you will be given a pink form to fill in with your personal data and info about your accommodation in Egypt (you can write just “Dahab” if you want);
- once you enter the airport you have to buy the VISA at one of the bank-desks on your left. The visa costs 15 $ or 12 €. As they do not accept coins, if you want to pay in euros I suggest you to bring with you 15 € in banknotes, so you will get about l.e. 30 change.
- Now you only have to stick your visa on a free page of your passport, pass the check of the police and get their stamp before getting your luggage.
- Once out of the terminal, you will find a person waiting for you for the transfer you have booked.
This is the procedure to get the visa in order to enter Egypt from the airport of Cairo:
- once you entered the terminal of arrivals you have to follow the sign “Domestic Flights” (Connection). On your left you will find several bank desks where you can buy the visa.
- The visa costs 15 $ or 12 €. As they do not accept coins, if you want to pay in euros I suggest you to bring with you 15 € in banknotes, so you will get about l.e. 30 change. - Now stick your visa on a free page of your passport.
- Now you can pass the security check where you will be asked these documents together with the pink paper you filled in on the plane (regarding your address in Egypt, it is enough to write Sharm el Sheikh or Dahab).
- Once you arrive in Sharm el Sheikh, as you already have your visa for Egypt, you just need to get your luggage and leave with no further checks!
